CineStrata was founded in 2016 by filmmaker Marc Blanc following 3 years of initial research.
He was joined in 2018 by Dr Linda Chirrey as co-founder. After 6 years of product development and market research,
the company presents its proof of concept.

Marc Blanc is a multi-disciplinary filmmaker and entrepreneur with a background in film theory and practice, having studied in Paris and London. Over the years, he has written, directed, and produced several short films and a feature documentary, which had a theatrical release in the UK and has been showcased at international film festivals. With hands-on experience in directing, editing, cinematography, and sound, Marc pioneered the innovative CineStrata process. Marc's diverse background also includes work in administration, accounts, sales, and management across industries such as space, technology, and high-end healthcare equipment. As the founder and CEO of CineStrata, he leads the team, oversees projects, and conducts ongoing research into film language and the application of the CineStrata process across diverse genres.
Linda Chirrey brings a wealth of experience to the team, through a rare blend of scientific, creative and business skills. She has a PhD in science, a lifelong passion for art and has carved a 25 year professional career in film production, supply chain management and procurement in the healthcare industry. Attracted by CineStrata’s unique blend of film, art and science, she joined to provide support researching the science behind the innovation, validating key concepts and working alongside Marc to develop algorithms and tools to deliver the CineStrata process. Going forward, Linda will spearhead research and development initiatives and will manage relationships with CineStrata’s key industry partners.
Marc and Linda have been working together for over 25 years in film. They form a unique team with complementary skillsets that extend beyond filmmaking and science, into finance, management, marketing and strategy.
